The intent of this body of work comes from my interest and fascination in the coastal landscape of Southern California where I was raised. My concepts are explored through the printmaking medium. These compositions are made while thinking about color, texture, and light. I am interested in the  layers of history, the passing of time, along with the stability and fragility of  these temporary and ever-changing environments. Through memory, photographs and life experiences I composes prints which reference these environments but also exaggerate and romanticize my attraction to these places.
